The Children of the Revolution

We hear of the Children in one conveniently expository blurb:

“A generation [after Six-Gun], Narissa organized the Children of the Revolution to petition the Institution for expanded rights for Lowtown and the Annexed, but without explanation, they too grew silent and vanished.”

When Ricky is discovered to have printed a pamphlet on Holman’s press, he begins to explain that he wanted to get Narissa’s attention.

We learn in a small aside that the Children of the Revolution are now called the Ghosts of the Revolution:

Tim: “My dad was involved with the Ghosts when he was around.”
Donnie: “The Ghosts?”
Hank: “… of the Revolution. It’s not ‘Children’ anymore.”
Donnie: “Ah.”

Donnie seems surprised Hank wants to work with the Children-now-Ghosts of the Revolution. At least because Hank has shown no sympathy to the Towners’ plight (that we know of), but possibly because of something more.
